July 2009

Hi there!

End-of-year exams are just around the corner, so it’s time to start focusing on graduating with flying colours. But for some students, not knowing what they will be doing next year could be a major distraction. No need to worry, though. There are still companies recruiting graduates with the drive to succeed on www.gradx.net.

Entries open for the global student entrepreneur awards

Are you a student entrepreneur looking to break into the big time? Then you should enter the Global Student Entrepreneur Awards (GSEAs) and pit your business wits against other young up and coming tycoons. The GSEAs are being brought to South African student entrepreneurs in association with Student Village. Filling in an entry form will put you in line to win some great prizes, extend your network and expose you to ideas and input from your peers around the world. Find out more about the GSEAs and how you can get your big break here.

Graduates at work

There are so many success stories from recent graduates on www.gradx.net that it’s difficult not to be inspired to reach your own goals. Wandile Rikhotso is one of these inspiring success stories. He completed his honours in Marketing and Management at the University of Johannesburg. He currently works as a promotions and events co-ordinator for Volkswagen South Africa. Much of his work centres around organising car launches. Find out more about Wandile’s success here.
